I bought this used in 1988 from a scooter shop in Fullerton, Calif. In the late '80s and mid '90s this scooter was a daily rider and was very reliable. In 2010 I moved it from So. Cal. to Dallas, TX, and stored it in my garage. I haven't tried to start it in more than 10 years. The original paint and seat are worn.The front plastic cover broke off in one of my moves and it missing.The horn, turn signals and head light worked the last time I fired it up.
