Vehicle Detail
Thanks to a non paying jackass bidder, Up for auction I still have a 1995 ford bronco xlt with 199,000 miles on it. I have owned this truck since august of 2010. The reason I'm selling is because I got a new job a year and a half ago and it's 43 miles away. It's never left me on the side of the road, but gas is too expensive to drive this 86 miles a day. Since 2010 I drove about 30 miles a day, 5 or 6 days a week. In the last year and a half I'll bet I have not put 125 miles on it. Sitting is bad for vehicles and it needs a new owner. Everything works that I'm aware of except the rear window. It gave up on mothers day. When you push the switch one way you can hear something spinning, and when you push it the other way you hear click click click. It's probably the plastic balls in the motor as I have had broncos in the past with this problem, but I don't know for sure. I closed the window with a suction cup and have just not had time to mess with it. The passenger side rear brake squeaks the first and second time you hit them and after that no more. I have not done anything with the brakes since I have owned it. They seem to work just fine, one day on the interstate I got on them hard at 60 mph and it stayed straight and nothing locked up. The battery is probably 4 years old. When I drove it daily I had no battery issues. Since it has been sitting I have had to charge it a few times, sometimes it sits a couple months without starting it. Everything in the air conditioning is within a few years old other than the dash piece. All was bought at NAPA. Condenser, compressor, accumulator, lines, orifice tube and clutch fan. The air blows cold as long as you are driving. When you stop at a stop light for an extended time or drive through it will start to get warm. As soon as you drive away it gets cold again. I was told it is the clutch fan. I think we proved that because when we put a fan in front of the condenser, it will blow cold all day long. I didn't do much in town driving and the water temperature never runs warm so I just didn't worry about it. They recommended putting a steel blade fan on it because here in America you can't buy a quality clutch fan. The radiator (NAPA) is only about 3 years old. The water pump, bought from ford, is about 3 years old. It has some play in the steering wheel,( it's 23 years old), and it does drift a little on certain roads. I have a friend who works at a ford dealership and he took it for me to check the front end. He said everything was fine so I don't know what that is all about. Personally I don't think he even looked at it because I asked him at 10:30, 11:30 etc up until 1:30 and he hadint looked at it yet, but at 2:30 it was checked and done and all good and he was almost home.... The tires all have good tread. The alternator is only maybe 1 year old. The airbag light has been coming on recently too. Probably from sitting. I was told to check the connection on the yellow wire that runs up under the steering column, fords are known for that? Again, have not had time to mess with it. It does drip a couple drips of oil after driving for a while. No puddles. The power steering leaks a little. When I drove it daily I had to top off the fluid about every 3 to 4 months. Don't know what exactly is leaking. Not a bad leak though. The rear main seal is the oil leak I believe. The seats are tore up but again, it is a 1995 with 199,000 miles on it. The front seats have covers which were on it when I got it. This truck was used and driven, not parked in the garage and rarely used. Seats are easy to change but rust holes, body work, and paint are not. The body on this truck is great. The drip rail on both sides has some rust, nothing else does. The tailgate has no rust at all. Most are rusted out and half assedly repaired, this one is not. My dog has been in this truck lots of times so if that offends you, please don't bid. The running boards are not all broken and messed up like most are. There are a few minor chips and scrapes in the paint, see the pictures. I have a lot more pictures, ebay would only let me put 24. If you want pictures of something in particular, please ask. It has the 351, 5.8 liter engine. I put plugs and wires on it a few years ago. It runs, it drives, transmission shifts etc. The 4 wheel drive works. Has never been mudding or abused. I locked it in 4 wheel drive when I drove through the yard just to keep from spinning the tires and tearing up the grass. I put the warn manual hubs on it probably 2011. Adult driven. The radio works. It is a Phase One I believe is the brand. It is too fancy for me. It has too many buttons and settings. It has a monitor that extends out but you need to help it in and out. It has navigation but I don't know how to work it. There is just too much to play with. There is a cd player in the center console but I have not tried it since 2010. It worked when I bought the truck, but have not used it since. The title is in my name, florida, and is clear, no issues. I know I'm bouncing around on the description but I'm writing as I think of things. Keep in mind that you are not buying a brand new truck. It is 23 years old and has 199,000 miles on it. The mileage will not go up as I don't have a license plate or insurance on it anymore. No reserve auction, it will sell. I want a non refundable $1000.00 deposit within 72 hours of auction end via paypal and the balance due within 7 days of auction end. Balance due in cash on site, cashiers check, or Paypal. I would prefer Paypal. Cashier check will 100 percent clear before the truck leaves. I have gotten bogus cashier checks before!! I will be happy to assist in shipping. Thanks to a non paying jackass bidder I had to relist the bronco..... OK, Ive had 2 people ask. When I said that I had to top off the fluid every 3 to 4 months, I'm talking about the power steering fluid, not the engine oil.... For the other guy, the color is white and charcoal.... There are pictures. I have more pictures available
