1953 F100 has been sitting for estimated 8 to 10 years. According to the previous owner it ran before it was parked. Truck is currently not running engine does turn over . I bought the truck as a project but do not have time. Truck has a flat head V8, 3 on tree . 50th anniversary Truck. appears to be all original . it looks like it was repainted at some point. The previous owner has had the truck in his family since the 1960s I took a bunch of pictures to get an accurate description. if you have any questions let me know. Deluxe model gave the truck stainless steel trim on the rain gutter; stainlees steel windshield wipers, "teeth" in the grille; boomerang on the side hood emblem; lock on the glove compartment; and, believe it or not, a driver's side door lock key hole, too. Also, 1953 is the last year for the flathead and 6 volt electrical system. It was the first year for F-100 designation. They were F1 from '48-'52. It was the first year for "creature comfort". I think it was the first year for electric motor windshield wipers, too. They were previously vacuum operated. Creature comfort was an extra spring under the driver seat, wider cab for a third person to sit, wider windshield and now it was curved, wider rear glass.....and don't forget the 1953 50th anniversary of Ford (1903 -1953) horn button. I just thought I would offer some cool information for your original truck. I have had my 1953 f100 for 38 years. Love it. Good luck selling!
