7/21 - This car is being relisted, since the previous auction winner did not leave the deposit or respond to messages. Please abide by the rules of the auction. Thanks. This is a 1966 Volvo 122S. I will be moving soon and I will not have room in the next home. I'm sorry to see it go. As you can see from the pictures, the body is in good condition. A previous owner had it repainted and it still looks good. The original B18 has been replaced with a B20 engine. The original engine is included in the sale. The B20 engine has gone through a freshened bottom end, new oil pump, head and valves. The SU carbs have been professionally rebuilt and run perfectly. All lights and gauges are in working condition. I have made many updates to the car including the following: new clutch, throw out bearing, new water pump, new alternator, new battery, re-core of radiator, updated cooling system to the 1967 style closed system, new Bilstein shocks, new springs that lowered the car about 1", new lower ball joints, IPD front sway bar, rear poly bushings, new gas tank, new rubber gaskets for hood and trunk, swapped out original seat belt for modern adjustable belts, and many many more items. There are many more parts that will come along with the sale, such as another transmission, set of SU carbs and IPD rear sway bar. The mileage is listed as 118,000 but can not be verified because of the mechanical limit of the odometer. I have been all through this car and I don't see a reason why the mileage is not correct. I suggest anyone interested in this car to come and inspect it or send someone to do so. Please examine pics for condition and ask questions prior to bidding on the car. Sold As is. I require a $500.00 deposit within 24 hours of close of auction - cash or through PayPal. Payment due within 7 days of close of auction. Pick up of car within 2 weeks of close of auction.
