2015 Mercedes Sprinter 2500 camper conversion. Van is originally a 12 passenger van with a 2.1L diesel engine, 7 speed transmission, front and rear AC, heater, backup camera, Bluetooth and MP3 player. Seats have been removed and a cabinet with sink, stove, pull out table, 4 passenger seat that converts to a bed, upper bed with storage underneath, 7 gallon water tank under the carriage and front passenger swivel seat have been added. Not a single hole or cut has been used to make the conversion! Van can be converted back to a full passenger van (seats included) in less than 2 hours. This van is the most frugal way to travel. With a 26 gallon fuel tank and an average of 22.6 MPG, you can travel over 500 miles on a single fill-up. Utilizing rest areas, truck stops, Walmart parking lots, RV campgrounds and regular campgrounds, you can travel with minimal cost while sleeping on your sheets and pillow and cooking your own meals. Van was purchased from a dealer in December of 2017 with 90k miles and I have put about 15K miles on the following trips (all from Los Angeles): Vancouver BC, Phoenix, Sequoias, San Francisco, Grand Canyon and for the 4th of July Florida and back through 11 states (5700 miles in 11 days)! NOT A SINGLE MECHANICAL ISSUE ON ANY OF THESE TRIPS. Engine, transmission, front and rear AC’s, heater, all lights etc work perfectly. No leaks, noises or any other issues. LED interior lighting, tires at 70%, all coolants topped off, ready to go. Purchased with a rebuilt title and did not get any history on the vehicle. I have changed the engine oil twice with Mobil ESP synthetic oil as well as the transmission oil and filter. Van needs nothing and is ready to drive anywhere. Considering the long distance travels and at the advice of the best Sprinter mechanic in Southern California (Richard 951-488-6845), I have purchased both serpentine belts, pulley tensioner and idle pully’s ($120) and the DEF countdown reset tool ($350). Fortunately I have not needed to use any of these items and they will be included with the van for a worry free experience. Many more images available for the asking. Registered and insured in California until Dec of 2018. Smog done 7-10 and good for 90 days in California. You can bring your mechanic, body guy or the uncle who knows about cars to inspect the vehicle. Vehicle can be picked up in person or I can drive and deliver it to within 500 miles of Los Angeles as work schedule permits.
