You are bidding on a SUPER NICE 1969 Ford Ranchero 500. It is equipped with the very torquey 250 cubic inch engine (rated at 240 lbs/ft of torque), and mated to the super reliable C-4 Cruisomatic automatic transmission. The recently rebuilt engine is quiet and smooth as is characteristic for the inline six while maintaining superb oil pressure even at idle. The transmission shifts crisp and smoothly with no noise even when cold. The car has manual steering and the steering box is positive with no sloppiness or wayward steering tendencies. All steering components have been replaced and serviced and the car drives and handles like new. The car sits on new radials at all four corners mounted on stock matching body color wheels and stock center style wheel covers for a really nice stock appearance. It is equipped with rebuilt drum brakes at all four corners with solid and concentric drums that provide more than adequate stopping power with a minimum of effort.No pedal pulsation, chattering or pulling. The interior is comprised of the stock bench seat, newly professionally recovered in black vinyl with white contrasting piping applied over new seat foam . The door panels and instrument cover are in near perfect condition and the rear compartment pressboard panel has been custom covered in black vinyl as well, in combination with the black full carpeting giving it a nice custom appearance. The exterior paint was professionally applied a little over two years ago in the original "Y" code Burnt Orange Metallic, in the original as factory produced white accented hood and striping. NOT a 20 footer, this jewel looks great close up from any angle. Very dramatic in full sun. The bedliner was applied over an absolutely pristine bed and tailgate (pics available on request) and the underside of this Ranchero is as clean and solid as any out there Everything works as it should. Has had complete major tuneup and all service items replaced including belts, hoses, ignition components, carb, thermostat, gaskets, fluids and new aluminum radiator. This car is a joy to drive, delivers surprising performance as well as amazing gas mileage. Even has an updated stereo and dual dash mounted speakers. Needs ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
