Due to age, I've decided to liquidate a good portion of my collection. For sale today is a numbers matching 1970 Bonneville with attitude. I bought this bike about 20 years ago from an estate in NJ as a basket case. The executor could not locate the title so it's being sold on a bill of sale only (NO TITLE). I restored it about 18 years ago and rode it maybe 20 miles. I rebuilt the carbs and installed a Pazon ignition and solid state rectifier 2 years ago and ran it around the block. I have not started it since. The battery is on a trickle charger but it's not holding a charge so you'll need to replace it. I never liked the scallop paint pattern on the '69 and later tanks so I had it done in 70's colors but with the older paint scheme. The cylinders were bored and new pistons and rings installed. The head was redone with new valves, guides and springs. A new clutch, cables, brakes, bars and stainless hardware were added. I can't recall if the gauges were refurbished. I added a beautiful pair of Akront shouldered rims with Buchanan stainless spokes, a pair of reverse cone megaphone silencers, alloy velocity stacks, genuine Doherty alloy levers and finned points cover to give it that cafe look. I have a pair of stock rubber knee pads I have not installed but will go with the bike. Tires are new and slightly oversized. Also available is a high quality German made cafe seat if you'd prefer that look. I have all the stock components I'll switch out for the buyer.
