You are looking at a rare and clean 1995 Chevrolet Caprice 9C1 ( Police Package ). This car was a detective car and it is a rare dark gray metallic paint, with a clean, original light gray Police interior and a split bench seat. We bought this car some years ago from a private individual that used it as his daily driver for years. He added some items like the Impala SS grille and trunk spoiler, Impala emblems, etc. It is from the southern part of the country where they don't use salt on their roads, and it shows. Additional improvements include an aftermarket cat-back exhaust system with mellow toned turbo mufflers, Eaton Positraction carrier with 3.42 gears, Monster built 4L60E transmission, and an aftermarket CD / Stereo system. Recently, we replaced the front steering parts and had a front end alignment done. We then added the Corvette Rallye wheels and Police car / taxi cab centers, new 255 / 60 / 15 tires, replaced the shocks with Gabriel Ultra Severe Duty shocks, installed new rotors, GM Severe Duty brake pads, and replaced the radiator. The Air Conditioning system was reconditioned which included a new compressor, and a fresh charge. It blows Ice Cold ! This Caprice has 117k miles on it's clock and it is not like most ex-Police cars that have been whipped, and are all worn out. I have owned several of these cars over the years and have put thousands of miles on them in several different capacities. This is one of the nicest ones I have ever driven. That being said, it is Not perfect. It does show some minor wear and tear common with every day use, but not the typical Police Car abuse. It has not been restored. I would classify it as a survivor as it has been repaired as needed over the years, and had tasteful upgrades added. It would make a great daily driver, toy / hobby car, or it could be put back into service as a Police car. In my opinion, these were the best Police car ever produced !
