Offering a 1965 Mustang original C code V8 4 speed completely restored with all new parts. Engine is a 1966 289 with all new parts rebuilt by a ford dealer master mechanic. It was built with a hydraulic cam for easy maintenance and can run unleaded. It has the ford 4100 4 barrel and manifold, with hi po exhaust manifolds Top loader is original also rebuilt. rear end is a ford 9 inch from a Lincoln also rebuilt. Brakes are 4 wheel disks from wilwood Wheels are 17 inch front, 18 rear from billet specialties, shocks Qa1, tires are G force B F Goodrich. Car is from Texas so very little rust was found. new floor panels were installed to make certain convertible unibody was indeed solid. Floors and doors were insulated with Dynmat. Underside of car is finished and detailed as a show car. Car had the original pony interior in white as is now, exterior color was originally poppy red, current is House of Kolor raspberry pearl. Over 1500 man hours was put in this restoration. It is show quality and is a brand new 65 with less than 100 miles. It drives like a new car and is a pleasure to drive. Very stable at highway speed and much safer with the upgraded brakes etc. I have the GT black stripes if you wish I could install or provide them to you. We were waiting for final paint polish and we have had mixed opinions on looks. Convertible top is power, with glass rear window, all new pump and slaves, windows and doors are manual Arrangements can be made and is recommended to see the car. Pictures do not do it justice. It is evaporator only and mounts below dash in front of shifter, It is in good shape except chrome blemish. All one would need to complete is vintage air condenser and a sanden 508 compressor and the lines. The wiring harness has the wire for air and the engine pulleys have the extra grove for the belt, I also have the bracket to mount the 508 compressor.
