1989 GOLDWING GL1500 TRIKE WITH TOW-BEHIND TRAILER Has "E-Trike" after-market trike kit. I purchased this trike last year from it's original owner. I bought it for the sole purpose of taking a cross-country trip. My buddy and I took off for 3 weeks and drove over 6,000 miles around the country. We rode in every condition including high-altitude mountains, 100+ degree heat in the dessert, and had 0 problems the whole trip. Prior to this trip, the whole bike had been gone through by the Honda dealer. It got a new alternator and battery and new brakes. I didn't have a single issue the whole way. The previous owner kept it garaged and only sold it because he was in his 80's and no longer able to ride. It's a 5 speed plus reverse. Everything works on the bike. I have all of the manuals and books for the bike, the trike kit and headsets. Trailer has been painted to match. All lights have been upgraded to LED, and all work. Bike and trailer are wired in sync. I have mounted a Yeti Cooler on the trailer, and will include it with the sale There is a split in the upholstery on the back of the passenger seat. It is protected with plastic, so water is not getting the foam rubber wet. I have upgraded the audio system. It has the original Am/Fm cassette and CB, and they work fine. I am including a set of (nearly new) Sena bluetooth headsets. These are much more up to date than what comes with the bike. You can pair these with your cell phone to play your playlist or Pandora. It also gives you crystal clear communication between riders, and you are able to pair up to 16 of these headsets together if you are riding in a group. You can also make hands-free calls while going down the road, and the other party will never know that you are driving 70 MPH going down the road on a motorcycle. The units are re-chargeable, and we were able to get a long day (10-12 hours of riding) out of a full charge. You can also plug in to charge while riding. I am only selling because I have 3 bikes and a convertible, and I don't need all of these. Wife says I only need 1 pleasure vehicle, so I'm keeping the Harley... (Happy wife=Happy life) This trike and trailer are solid and ready to make another cross-country trip. A couple of the tires will need attention in the next couple thousand miles or so. Trike is located in Cincinnati. It is ready to throw a leg over it and drive to California (again). This auction is for local pick-up in Cincinnati only.
