1987 Ford F250 XLT Lariat Extended Cab LWB 2WD. 1-Owner 60,747 original miles, EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION. Loaded with every available option from its day: - Automatic Transmission - Power Steering - Power Locks - Power Brakes - Tilt Steering Wheel - Cruise Control - AM/FM Cassette Stereo (yes is works great! Plays tapes and no static or blown speakers) - Captains Chairs with fold-down armrests and center console - Aux Engine Oil and Transmission Coolers - Cab Marker Clearance Lights - Tow Mirrors Additional Owner Added Extras: - Weld Racing Polished Aluminum 16x8 Wheels - Tinted Windows - Full Length Diamond Plate Running Boards - Matching Red Bug Shield (Uninstalled/Included) This truck represents the end of an era, as it is a carbureted gas model with the 7.5 liter, C6 trans, and Dana rear axle with 4.11 gears. The truck is likely one of, if not the nicest and most well preserved of its era on the market today. It is a 1-owner truck that was purchased new in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and it remained local with the original owner until I purchased it just a couple of months ago. According to the original owner, it has never spent a single night outside of the garage, has never been on long trips, has only been driven in the rain about a dozen times (and not within the past 20 years), has never had passengers on the rear seat, and only rarely has someone sat in the front passenger seat. Never smoked in, never eaten in, and never even been dirty on the inside. The carpet does not have a single stain and is still fluffy like new, not mashed down at all. The truck literally still has a new car smell about it. The seats, carpet, dash, etc. are all in perfect original condition. The exterior has one small star/chip on the windshield (pictured), the plastic emblems are starting to delaminate (also pictured), but it is absolutely flawless otherwise. The original paint is Wimbledon white with Toreador red two-tone, and still in like new condition. There is no fading, scratches, dings, dents, imperfections or damage history whatsoever. This truck is truly a rare find and one of a kind at 31-years old. It has never had a hitch installed and never towed anything. The tow wiring harness was never installed from new and is still in its original box and included. It has had a bed liner installed since new, and according to the original owner has never hauled any sort of heavy load. It comes with both sets of original keys and owners manuals as well. I have personally driven the truck about 100 miles since I purchased it. It is in such nice condition that I am honestly a little paranoid to take it out much, for fear that it might get damaged. I’ve looked it over and inspected it very well. It is just as nice under the hood and the undercarriage. It is all dry and there are no leaks anywhere. None of the plastic or rubber is rotted, mechanicals are all in top-notch condition, and everything works exactly as it should. There are zero issues and nothing hiding on this truck. I did find some very small things that needed to be addressed when I purchased it, and the following has been done: - Power Steering Pump resealed with Ford Motorcraft seal kit (had a very small leak, likely from sitting) - Transmission serviced with new fluid, filter and pan gasket (this was also because of a very small drip on one corner of the transmission pan, again likely because it wasn’t driven much) - New sending units and fuel pumps in both fuel tanks (rear pump was inop, so I decided to go ahead and replace both to avoid any future issues) - New AC Evaporator core, accumulator/dryer, orifice tube, all new o’rings, system flush and recharged with PAG oil and R134A refrigerant conversion. AC blows nice and cold now. Pictures simply do not do it justice, you have to see this truck in-person to really understand the exceptional condition and how well it was cared for. I am not a dealer, I am a car enthusiast and collector. I used to be a Ford dealership mechanic in the era when these trucks were new, and I still have a love for the OBS Fords. I have a private shop on my home property where I do some work and trading as a side business. I only deal in hard to find and exceptional condition vehicles. This is more a hobby than a business to me. If you check my feedback you will see the caliber of other vehicles I have sold in the past. I do not sell in volume, only a few per year, and I only bring the nicest of the nice to Ebay. I will say that I have not come across an OBS Ford in this condition since I worked on them new as a dealership mechanic. I have posted a couple of videos to youtube as well - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IGFn8AGf9KU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oe23H8e6sh8 If these links do not work, search “Jason Wade 1987 F250” on www.youtube.com to locate them. Non-Refundable $500 Paypal deposit will be due within 24 hours of auction close. I will only accept cash or confirmed bank draft or wire for remaining balance. The truck needs to be picked up with transaction complete within 7-days of the auction close. This is a real deal auction with no reserve - the truck will sell to the highest bidder.
