1974 HONDA MT250 ELSINORE. NO RESERVE.This bike is a converted street legal MT250 to offroad duty. All of the lights have been removed. It has an aftermarket front fender which was painted silver to match the tank and fork boots. The bike has NO TITLE available. I chose an option to be able to make the ad.The cycle runs VERY strong. It has great compression. It feels fast even by today's standards. It needs a few tasks done but they dont amount to much. It needs a kill switch wired up. I kill it with the clutch currently.The front tire will eventually go flat after a few days and should probably be swapped out anyway. The Uni filter air cleaner foam was falling apart and it needs a new one. I havent ridden it except in grass a few times after I removed it so it hasnt inhaled dirt.The seat has a tiny pencil eraser size hole and little spots unstitched on the sides but its in pretty good shape. I have unhooked the oil injection and premix the gas.I will include the original oil injection tank. The gas tank has been previously creamed and has a left side dent and smaller right side one and some decal fading/paint chips but its presentable.The petcock flows fuel ok but might need rebuilt at some point. It could use new grips and the front brake lever is a little too close to the throttle grip for my liking. These items are all that I know of. It would make a sweet AHRMA bike that you could run without investing a ton or just a cool play bike.It has an aftermarket expansion chamber in good shape and extremely loud. I have replaced the carburetor with a larger flatside unit. I have the original one as well. It usually starts 2nd kick and the jetting seems good. Wheelies at will.
