This 1975 Alfa Romeo Alfetta is a non-running beauty that is powered by a 1.8-liter inline-four and 5-speed manual gearbox. I acquired the car last year from the original owner, who purchased the car in Udine, Italy in 1975. Following time spent in Italy, France, and Africa, the car accompanied the owner’s move to Montreal, Canada in 1989. Kept in dry storage for the past 15 years, the car is a largely original example that features one repaint just before it was stored, a well-preserved interior, and unmodified mechanicals. The floors on this car are amazing, unbelievable how solid they are. The Alfetta's are extremely rare in North America, and are becoming sought after by Alfa collectors. The car actually shows 139859 kms which is equivalent to approximately 88,000 miles. Equipped with two overhead camshafts, 8-valves, and a pair of double-barrel carburetors, the 1.8-liter inline-four is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox and is said to be unmodified from stock. Presently in non-running condition, the motor turns freely and will not take much to get started. I have plenty of pictures of the car, but was not able to put more due to eBay's limit. The clutch and transmission were housed at the rear of the car, together with the differential for a more balanced weight distribution. The handling on these cars is amazing.
