Vehicle Detail
Stunning two tone white and deep blue classic Silver Shadow with less than 30K miles. Rare original working electric sliding sun and moon roof. Clean AZ title and current registration in my name. Paint is shiny but starting to craze. Very little rust for a car of this vintage. Has typical British car leaks, hydraulics work fine and most hydraulic lines have been replaced. The previous owner redid the brakes. This car presents well. The leather is in good condition, everything looks original except for fuel pump, the newer somewhat throaty dual exhaust and the Nardi-like wood rimmed steering wheel. There are thick wool carpets, floor mats and removable wedge footrests in for rear seat passengers. Tires are less than a year old. The car starts right up, it idles, accelerates, shifts, stops, turns fine, but occasionally it will lose power and stall. This car can not be titled in California because it has an aftermarket dual exhaust without catalytic converter -- which is why I'm selling it.Question answers:The car is parked on my driveway and is always covered. Covers last around 9 months, so I replace them as needed.I added a picture to show a close up of the sunroof and roof area. You can see the crazing paint and superficial rust spots around the sunroof.I start and run the car about once every two weeks. I purchased a used Pierburg electric fuel pump, another OEM electric fuel pump, a primary fuel filter and carb fuel filters - none have yet been installed and I will include in the sale.An older Alpine (I think) amplifier with equalizer and bluetooth receiver is included in the sale, but not installed.I don't think the steering wheel is really a Nardi wheel, but it looks similar. I don't have the original steering wheel. The horn works. The fuel gauge does not, it pegs to the right of the dial until the fuse blows.I've owned the car for about 2 years. I'm selling because I can't register it in California without expensive retrofit of CA smog equipment. The air pump is still in place on the engine, but there are no catalytic converters, just mufflers. The exhaust system looks and operates fine. It is a non-original dual exhaust.Carpets are fine. There are no signs of any water intrusion or mold. The wood is complete and generally in good shape. The typical driver top door wood should be refinished. The dash wood is good. The leather on the dash is good, but the glue has failed in places and will need to be reglued. The leather on seats, and door panels look good, with slight surface cracking that can easily be filled/refinished. The dash fans blow fine, but the A/C doesn't engage. The car stops, steers, shifts and accelerates fine without any unusual noises.
