Up for sale is a 1980 VW Rabbit diesel 5 stick shift. It's currently not running. It is not getting fuel. This car is a project car. I bought it last year and I just don't have the time to mess with it. Here is a list of things that I have found not working or in need of repair.1. Hood latch not hooked up2. accelerater cable not attached3. No front bumper4. No air filter5. Wires are all over/spliced 6. Glow plugs bypassed with wires in to the cab of the car 7. Exhaust hanging8. Radio not installed (I don't know if it works)9. Hole in head liner10. Hatch doesn't stay up hardware is not on the car11.car turns over just doesn't start. 12. 3 tires hold air one does not I bought and put a new fuel cap onHas new accelator cable needs to be installed Has used hood latch and cable needs to be installedHas used back bumper needs to be installed.Has new fuel filter needs to be installed Has a new 6 month old battery Also comes with new tail light. All in all I have over 1000$ in to it including getting the title straighten out. So please no low ball offers. No shipping, car is located in Crystal Lake Ilinois and will need to be towed.
