Previous owner was 73 and owned this car from the 90's, he loved this car and actually had a garage built especially for it and drove it only around town on special occasions, averaging 50 to 100 miles per year. The local garage serviced it yearly in the spring. I have the descendant's contact number for confirmation if requested. I purchased the car prior to the probate closing and waited almost two months to get the car. Unfortunately for the Vette, I was lucky enough to acquire my dream car, a 1970 Boss 302, and can't and shouldn't keep both of them. Clean Illinois title in my name and hand. I took the Corvette out this April and loved driving it, but it was too quiet for my taste , so I had flow-master 40's installed and they sound much better, but I still have the original mufflers. This Corvette is a great running and driving car and needs to be enjoyed. The T-tops are easy to take on and off. All gauges work including the clock and the headlight doors work great. A/C needs charged. Unusual sun shade and all luggage parts for rack are present, even original owner's manual. I had all of the fluids changed and the following parts where replaced: Power steering hydraulic control valve, Upper Radiator hose, and belts Transmission filter and gasket Alternator and Interstate battery Speedometer o-ring in transmission All four shocks All calibers replaced, pads were great Brake lines as needed Emergency brake shoes and springs Valve cover gaskets T-top seals and rear center spring / bushings where replaced just prior to my purchase I'm 72 and retired, so shipping can be available for $1.25 per loaded mile (reasonable distances), prepaid prior to leaving.
