I'm reluctantly selling my Jaguar XK convertible to make room for a new car.* She's enthusiast owned (68 years old) and pampered, always garaged and seldom driven in the rain. Six years ago I bought her with 5000 miles on the odometer from a dealer who got the car in trade for a minivan. The car now has under 21,000 miles. The father had bought the car for his adult daughter who had no need for a world class two-seater sports cruiser. I paid $2000 for an extended warranty which I used once to repair a broken wire. Other than the routine replacement of a dead battery about a year ago, she has been flawless. She's absolutely gorgeous, in a rare and best color combination, and she draws praise everywhere. I would be very surprised if she is not one of the best XKs in the country. She needs nothing. There are no known issues. I can not imagine you will be disappointed if you are looking for a virtually new XK for 1/4 the original sticker price. She's pristine in Radiance Red with a Caramel leather interior and tan retractable soft top. She's got a clean Carfax and has never been in an accident. She's never had any paint work. Her 19" Carelia wheels (two have minor curb rash) are shod with new Continental tires with less than 100 miles on them. The spare tire and tools are unused. The dash is trimmed in burl and is striking. The new owner will get all the original books, records, the window sticker(!), and both original electronic keys. Oil (10-40 Mobil 1 Full synthetic) and filter (Mann) change within 100 miles. This is a turn-key car. The transmission is automatic with normal and "sport" modes, and can be operated with the two paddle shifters located behind the wood/leather trimmed steering wheel. My records reflect that I bought the set of tires when the car's mileage was 18,800, so they have 2,142 on them, not 100. If anyone wants to retract his or her bid, I totally understand. I apologize for the error. The tire pressure sensors were routinely replaced at the same time.
