Vehicle Detail
Beautiful 2 owner F350 Lariat Crew Cab 4x4 7.3L Turbo Diesel 172" Long Bed 155K milesFirst owner was a Fire Chief in California who took great care of the truck, second owner is retired classic car guy. Never owned by anyone who abused the truck or thrashed it off road. Not a lifted beat on truck!Leather seats and steering wheel have been covered since new! Great shape!Highly optioned truck:- Lariat Package- MFG/Dealer options: 3.73 Ratio, Electronic shift on the fly, Engine block heater, California emissions, sliding rear window, Tow package, Power telescopic TT mirror- Pioneer Apple talk Audio/Visual: If you have an iPhone this system is great!!!, just plug your iPhone into it and you have your mapping, phone, texting, music etc... right through your system while charging your phone at the same time.- Backup camera- Security cameras front/rear- Firestone Ride Rite air bag suspension assist kit complete with compressor and in-cab gauge with control. Great for leveling your load on the fly.- Reese Titan hitch - The OEM hitch is a joke compared to this hitch. When my empty car hauler trailer max'd out my OEM hitch tongue capacity, I researched hitch's and got the Reese Titan. Here is a quick comparison:Max Gross trailer weight: 5K/OEM 18K/ReeseMax Gross trailer weight with weight distribution: 10K/OEM 18K/ReeseMax Gross tongue weight: 500/OEM 2000/ReeseMax Gross tongue weight with weight distribution: 1K/OEM 2.5K/ReeseAs you can see, the Reese has 2-3 times the weight carrying capacity and 3-4 times the tongue weight. See the pictures for the significant difference in size/quality.- Brakes: <1K miles on complete new Front brakes (rotor/caliper/pads), and ~18K on Rear.- Banks Auto Programmer - Handheld, hooks into OBD port and you can adjust tunes per your need. I only changed to tow mode, which I only used briefly. You need to change out the waste gate valve for it to work properly. I have a new Banks valve but haven't installed it. If you never want to change tune, then nothing you need to do.- Tires: Top of the line Michelin 70K warranty tires, ~6K miles on Front and 24K on rear.- Grill and Headlights/signals etc... upgraded to 2005. Much better looking all chrome grill and newer bright headlights/signals.- Tekonsha P3 Proportional Trailer brake controller- WeatherTech front/rear floor mats- Locking hubs - Remote start - Security systemNot perfect items:- The dash control for engaging the 4WD doesn't work. I manage that with the locking hubs, no bid deal. The correction is not huge, it's just a vacuum issue which is how the dash switch engages the hubs. Therefore, the issue is either seals in the hub, relay, hoses. Basically, you just disconnect the vacuum line going to each hub and pull a vacuum and monitor the gauge. If any leak down, then it's the hub seals. If no leak down, then hubs are good. Next would be check the relay etc.... Just haven't had time to troubleshoot out. When I got the truck, the vacuum lines going to the hubs were dry rotted out, which I replaced but didn't correct the situation.- Minor knick/ding/scratch here and there as you would expect on a used vehicle. Not huge and not more then expected.- Some clear coat flaking here and there on the hood. I expect normal also, and would be a quick fix via buffing cosmetic, or buy a can of clear and take care it yourself , or minor cost at a body shop, or leave as is.
