Vehicle Detail

This Vehicle was purchased for the owner in 1998 with 84,000 miles. It was and still is one of the quickest 300d models I have ever driven and I have driven and sold HUNDREDS of them. In 2007 there was a small front end collision where the car went (my bad) under the bumper of the vehicle in front of it. The damage was to the hood, grill headlight surrounds and small dents to both fenders. This was repaired and at that time the whole paint was redone with all trim removed and front windscreen and seal. The paint still looks great as premium paint and materials were used. At this time the transmission was also rebuilt at Transmission solutions in Eugene, OR the most knowledgeable shop on these tranny's. Soon after this a Premium Green Eye Veg oil conversion was put in at approximately 140k miles. It has clocked 70k miles with this system in place probably running 70% of the miles on WVO. This system is proven in over 200 vehicles and works great. Being a shop owner and this being my Moms's daily driver this car was always kept in perfect order with all the shocks, front end wear items replaced like upper, lower, ball joints, control arms ect. She is classy and in great condition for year and age. The motor and transmission show no signs of slowing down and she will clock over 30mpg on long trips, more if you use the veg system which can get you all the miles you want on about 3 tanks of diesel a year.New Michelin tires were put on in 2016 and have approximately 5000 miles on them. These are the only tires that seem to hold up to the heft of these solid steel vehicles and should last 40k more miles easily... We got 50 k out of the last set.Interior is in great shape with some small wood trim delamination. The drivers seat has just started to loose some of the bats that are sewn in. The passengers is like new. The rear seat is in good condition but starting to have some soft spots. Typical for this age and miles but better than most as most the miles had only a driver in her.The exterior has some scratches and small dings that are visible in the pictures under close inspection but she represents very nicely. Heat and climate controls function properly and the AC was working last summer. It does not seem to be working now. Windows all go up and down, door locks work proper.ready to drive cross country.. I can scare up some veg oil for a trip if you want.
