For sale is my 2004 Tahoe Z71. It has 170,000 miles, has never been in an accident, spent the vast majority of its life in Colorado (no rust), and has been incredibly well kept. I am the second owner; I bought it in 2012 with the intention of keeping it forever and maintained and upgraded it accordingly. People are shocked to see 170,000 on the odometer- it is a CLEAN truck. It's tastefully modified and has many years and miles left on it. Initially I planned on keeping it until it dies, which is why I bought the parts that I did and have been so anal about maintenance. I drove it between my hometown of Denver and Pittsburgh many times, and I'm only selling it because I permanently moved to downtown Pittsburgh and it is too big for me to have in a tight city. Some of the highlights are below:NEW GM 5.3L ENGINE- replaced at 117,800 miles because the Castec cylinder heads on the old one cracked. This is a well-documented issue with 4.8 and 5.3L engines; I made sure the heads on the new engine do NOT have the same casting number as the problematic heads. As you can see I used very high quality parts for upgrades and maintenance because my intent was to keep this until it refused to run anymore. I have treated this truck well and I'm confident that this is one of the cleanest and most well maintained examples in existence. This truck needs absolutely NO heavy maintenance or parts, and it won't need anything for a very long time. I'm a lifelong car enthusiast with a passion for trucks and have been proud to own this one; it's never let me down. I've enjoyed modifying it and taking care of it, and I hope its next owner will treat it well and use it to make many fond memories.
