I purchased car off of showroom floor after it's car show run. (can provide verification for serious buyers)... car was originally a black car, painted the corvette red after grandfather bought, has the nicer leatherette and gray interior. I sold car to my son's grandfather and my son found it in grandfather's polebarn .....now 30 years later and I bought it back.... A very rare car with history.I bought it out of nostalgia, decided I don't have talent or time to restore. The body is solid with some minor surface rust around trim areas and wheel wells.. worst part of car is bottom of door skins where water accumulated under the body cladding and it rusted through door skins - not inside of doors.. doors still close very solid despite the rust ... all original VR body parts are on car except one door piece which is in trunk, said to have a blown head gasket but only verified through grandfather. Has been sitting for a number of years.Should be a great piece of GM history restored, or if you have a donor Eurosport take the VR pieces off this to other.... This was a great handling and looking car for it's era.
