2001.5 Audi S4 Avant 6-speed manual. Per Audi USA, one of 37 sold in Pearlescent White (22 manual, 15 automatic). Two owners from new, unmodified, 145k miles, runs and drives well, has all options except navigation. I bought it Certified Pre-Owned in May 2004 and used it as a daily driver until February 2018. Complete service history is available, oil always changed with Mobil 1 0W40; the troublesome trip computer display was replaced under CPO warranty and has no dead pixels. New timing belt/water pump at 91k, new clutch at 113k, passes CT emissions every 2 years. Overall, in pretty nice shape for a 17-year-old car that has spent its entire life in New England. Known issues:-Reverse synchros are worn. Sometimes it goes into reverse fine, other times it grinds. It's been this way for almost as long as I've owned it.-Front bumper cover is cracked and RH foglamp assembly is damaged. Caused by a traffic vehicle kicking up a tree branch.-Cruise control switch has always worked when it feels like it, which these days is never.-Bottom two buttons on the climate control are sticky from spilled soda.-Exhaust is original and rearmost hanger has rusted out. Has been held up by a hose clamp for many years without issue.-Turbos are original. They have given me no problems, but B5 people always think original turbos are about to let go.
