Quite simply I have too many cars (7) to handle so something’s got to go, so today it’s my solid Buick Sportwagon. Starts right up, uses no oil, and is a strong runner. I was going to do a 3 tone paint job on this one and make it look like a mini Greyhound Bus but alas too many projects and too little space force this one from my stable. The body is straight with one minor crease at the bottom of the passenger door, a ding in the tailgate and a 2 inch repairable rust spot under the spare tire compartment, the rest is as solid as they come! They must have geared these wagons low figuring they’d be hauling a lot because it has phenomenal get-up and go from a standstill. There is a minor water leak near the passenger door, probably a seal. The rear sun visors behind the Vista Dome roof for the back seat passengers are way cool. The original interior is in good clean shape with the exception of a tear in the driver’s section of the front seat. This wagon does not have the 3rd row seat option but the back seat folds flat for a huge cargo capacity when needed. This wagon would make a great delivery vehicle for an auto parts or body shop. Be it for a daily driver, weekend cruiser, rat rod, gasser, or period restoration this car is a great foundation for wherever your inspiration leads you, drive it while you decide it’s that time of year. I have kept this one in the garage so it has remained dry, now with my other vehicles coming out this one is the odd man out. To my knowledge I am the 3rd owner of this vehicle and I have a clear transferable title to it in my name. A probably too low of a reserve on this one gives everyone a chance at that wagon they always wanted. I am not a dealer, just a 61 year old ‘car guy’ with too many projects. My feedback speaks for itself, this is a good solid car ready for your finishing touches! Good luck and good bidding. As with most cars on EBay, there is no warranty and a non-refundable deposit of $500.00 to my PayPal account is due from the winning bidder within 48 hours of the auctions end. Remaining payment by certified check. Title will not be sent until paid in full. Shipping or pick up is the buyers responsibility, I will be here to meet with your shipper or you. I got an email from a Buick enthusiast last night indicating that the engine is most likely a 72 or 73 engine. I didn't know that, all I wanted was cool car when I bought it and this is certainly that kind of car. If this possibility would effect any bids you may have already placed you can cancel them and I would not be offended in the least. We have a big outdoor swap meet & car corral out here in 2 weeks and I know at this price it will sell there anyway. Thanks again.OzOn Apr-13-18 at 15:36:48 PDT, seller added the following information: NEW MESSAGE IMPORTANT: For those of you that are wondering what happened to the BUY-IT-NOW on my wagon: According to EBay "seller rules" under the Buy it Now section when the reserve price is met on a vehicle the BUY IT NOW price is automatically removed. I apologize to the two gentleman that had contacted me that were ready to use the Buy it Now option, but it was a computer generated procedure by EBay. Good Luck Folks and thanks for your understanding. OzOn Apr-14-18 at 14:26:51 PDT, seller added the following information:
