Up for auction is a well loved 2006 Honda Ridgeline RTL in good to very good condition. This was the top-of-the-line offering in '06 with leather, heated seats, factory Navigation, dual zone climate control and moonroof. Silver exterior with a dark grey interior, AWD, 133K miles and has been meticulously maintained. I’m the third owner and I purchased it as a Honda CPO vehicle from a local dealer w/ 40K miles in 2010. It has never been wrecked and I’ve serviced it religiously w/ Valvoline Full Synthetic oil changes every 6K, ATF fluid changes every 35K and VTM (differential) changes every 60K. Other positives: Never smoked in Starts, runs and shifts smoothly A/C blows ice cold New timing belt, tensioner & water pump at 105K Complete tune-up at the same time Body is well above average for the vehicle’s age Interior is good to very good Newer Michelin MTX all season tires w/ 8/32’ tread remaining Full sized spare w/ matching rim & tire. That tire is worn but serviceable w/ about 4/32” tread remaining new radiator & hoses at 116K Maps are up to date w/ the latest DVD Honda offers (2014 ??) all recalls completed & up to date Known issues: Brakes were last done at 88K and the pedal is starting to have a noticeable amount of travel so it will probably need fronts again soon From time to time the airbag warning light will turn on, but it goes back out after a few minutes or after the key is cycled. I’ve taken this into the dealer several times but they’ve never been able to replicate the problem. They say it is probably a seatbelt sensor which is a known issue on Hondas of this vintage. If that's correct the repair runs about $375 for replacement. Both front and rear plastic bumper skins show several noticeable scrape marks and areas where the paint is beginning to chip or peel. A respray would cure the rear skin, but the front is cracked through in a few places and would need to be replaced for best cosmetics. (see photos 13-16) New bumper skins are readily available and inexpensive. Minor dent over the driver’s rear wheel (see photo #12) Noticeable door ding on the passenger’s rear Painted finish on wheels is chipped and flaking off Terms: $500 "good faith" payment via PayPal due within 24 hours of Auction close. Balance is due within 7 days or at delivery (whichever occurs first) and needs to be cash (strongly preferred) or else a cashier's check drawn on a bank that has a local branch in zipcode 46143. No personal checks or money orders accepted. Final payment can also be made by PayPal but please add 3% to cover their fees if you opt for that. I will be happy to deliver this vehicle a maximum of 250 miles from the zipcode above for an additional cost of $69 + $0.95 per mile one-way. EXAMPLE: the fee to deliver a distance of 126 miles from my home would be: $69 + 126*$0.95 = $188.70. No bids will be accepted from any bidders who have less than 3 positive Feedbacks. This vehicle is advertised locally & I reserve the right to end the auction early UNTIL an opening auction bid has been received. Once someone makes the first bid, then all local buyers will be directed to this auction and they’ll have to bid along with everyone else. Vehicle needs to be picked up on or before 4/21/2018.
