NO RESERVE. ONE OWNER. LOW MILES. UNMOLESTED. Up for auction is a 2000 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 24 Valve Quad Cab Cummins Diesel with only 106k miles. The truck even comes with the original purcashe contract and window sticker. It also comes with maintenance receipts. This does not come around very often with these miles. I am in love with this truck. The ONLY reason I am not keeping this one for myself is because a car seat does not fit comfortably in this. The original owner passed away 2 years ago and his wife has finally gotten around to selling off some of his things. The truck was used on their ranch. This is NOT an auction truck. I’ve personally put a few hundred miles on the truck and it runs great. I was thinking of spending a little money on the cosmetics and asking all the money for it but decided against it. I would recommend changing fluids just because they are old from not being used much for the last 2 years. I did not want to change all the fluids because it may look like I was trying to hide an issue. I plan on changing the oil only because the drain plug leaks (yes, it is actually the drain plug) but can send a photo of the current condition of the oil if wanted. The engine fires up instantly (and I mean instantly) and without any engine knocks or misfire. The transmission shifts perfectly (no slips, late/hard shifts). 4x4 tested and works properly. She has a couple minor leaks if you crawl underneath but nothing bad at all. I’ve left it idling for 30 minutes and nothing dripped on the ground. This is a Laramie SLT with power driver seat, power windows, power locks, cruise control, tilt, CD player/tape player, power and heated mirrors. The drivers seat has 3-4” “tear” where the stitching is coming apart. The dashboard is a typical dodge dashboard that is all cracked up but has a dashcap. I ordered a new black dash cover that should arrive before the truck is picked up. Cup holders in good condition (pretty rare for a Ram). No check engine light or any other warning light on. Recently smogged in California. All gauges work as they should. AC works but only blows out of the upper vents (near the windshield). Batteries are from mid-2015 but have worked perfectly for me. Small chip in windshield on passenger side. Belt tensioner squeaks. I apologize for the long read, but I personally would like all this info if I was purchasing online with the possibility of buying sight unseen. This is a GREAT TRUCK and who ever buys it will not be disappointed. Carfax shows minor “accident” due to a small parking lot mishap. I shouldn’t have to say this but you are looking at an 18 year old truck. Please do not excpect a brand new truck. I recommend inspecting or having the truck inspected before purchase if you’d like BEFORE bidding. Do not expect to win this auction and then have the vehicle inspected. Top bidder is the new owner. I do my best to give all info that I know. However, I can not tell what is going to happen in the future. Vehicle sold AS IS. Vehicle is located in Escondido CA 92029 for inspection/pickup. Winner of auction must make an immediate deposit that is non-refundable of $500 through PayPal (unless other arrangements were made before hand). Truck must be paid in full within 3 days. I can store the truck for a reasonable amount of time for the owner if needed at no charge once full payment is made. That does not mean I’ll wait a month for you to come get the truck and then pay for it in person. Full payment is due within 3 days (unless other arrangements were made BEFORE auction end. CALIFORNIA BUYERS-I am a licensed dealer. I complete the dmv process for my customers. I WILL NOT charge you a dealer fee or for smog. No BS. I will however COLLECT California 7.75% tax and registration fees for 2018. You WILL NOT pay any late penalties or other nonsense some dealers try to pass on to the customer. OUT OF STATE BUYERS- If you drive the vehicle away, I am required to collect CA tax of 7.75%. You should not have to pay tax in your state if I collect for CA. If you ship the truck out of here with a proper shipping company, I do not collect any tax/registration. However, you will pay your states tax (if any) and registration if you plan on registering on for street driving. It will take me approximately 2 weeks to get you the CA title because I will have to title the vehicle under my business name. This will technically add an owner to the carfax.
