I just purchased this van on auto trader for $4200.00 and paid $1200 for shipping from California to Oklahoma. I was going to make it into a Scooby Doo Mystery van. While it was in transit, I found a Scooby Doo Van already completed. I received the Van yesterday and it is on the market today with NO RESERVE. I am going to post the pictures that the seller posted AND I am going to post some new pictures of problem areas that were hard to see in his pictures. Here is what he said about the Van in Auto Trader: "A classic 1970 Econoline 300 SuperVan - E300Running Great and ready for a makeover. All original. Bought it from original owner, but haven't found the time to make it the ultimate restoration and conversion I wanted. Tags paid until April 30, pink slip in hand. If you are into classic vans, this thing is not only a beautiful ride, but the cleanest open canvas to make cherry. Thank you" After owning it for one day, Here is what I would add: the one positive, I have never seen a vehicle start so fast. It literally starts in a 1/8 of a second. Faster than any of my other 4 cars that are new. The engine sounds great. The negative is that it is ugly and doesn't have power steering. There were also several small dents that I did not notice from his pictures. I added those. If you want a video of it running or anything else, just let me know. OH, he also told me that it has a slow battery drain. He thinks maybe from the head lights???My schedule is really flexible so I can work with any shipping company to get this shipped ASAP
