Summary - Bought this bike several years back from the original owner. it has always been stored indoors but has some rust and light pitting/ corrosion on the chrome and aluminum, it looks like most of it is surface and could be removed by hand with steel wool or wirewheel with the exception of the engine guard, exhaust heat shields, front fender and some other parts, but for the most part could be cleaned up as a good original rider. when we bought the bike it fired right up but wouldn't idle so i had someone take the carbs off to get rebuilt and shortly after the project got put on hold. Just recently cleaned the carbs and re assembled - got it to fire up , the engine sounds great and idles but I'm certain that i didn't get the hose routing correct on the carbs or something because there is gas leaking from two small ports at the carbs and it seems to be flooding once shut off. there are some nicks and at least one notable ding in the tank, otherwise the paint is decent. tires appear to be original, hold air but show signs dry rot. the side covers, and airbox are off the bike but included, as well as the operators manual and what i hope is all the hardware. *notable issues (there could be more, this is what I'm aware of) no battery, carbs need checked, tires and brakes need checked and or replaced, turn signals removed, rust and light corrosion, choke cable not functioning, partially disassembled, light rust in the top of gas tank but has been flushed. ** Entire bike should be gone over mechanically for safety but overall it would make a great project or restoration bike. If you would like any additional information or pictures please ask. THANKYOU.
