Vehicle Detail

You are looking at a beautiful Triumph T160 motorcycle restored by a triple restorer with over 40 years of experience building and riding BSA and Triumph triples. Everything on this bike is in perfect working order. Engine: The engine was completely rebuilt from the crankshaft up. The crankshaft was cleaned including the slug passageways, new main and rod bearings were installed. All engine seals were replaced. The head was completely rebuilt by EDCO (including new exhaust seats, new valve guides, Black Diamond valves with seals on the intake and exhaust, mushroom adjusters on valves, the cylinder was bored .040, new pistons with Hepolite 3 piece oil rings). Engine was assembled with copper head, base, and rocker box gaskets and an oil pressure gauge was installed. Clutch was rebuilt with a new clutch plate, tapered radial thrust bearing, and new radial bearing on clutch lifting mechanism. Motion Pro clutch cable was installed. Of course, this bike runs the Tri-Spark electronic ignition. The starter is in perfect working order. Carbs: Carbs were disassembled and completely rebuilt. New Amal needle jets, main jets, and needles were installed and checked with pin gauges. Manifold and carb bodies were polished. Carb manifold was drilled and tapped for Motion Pro vacuum connectors. After run-in, carbs were balanced with Motion Pro gauges. Bike averages 40 MPG under normal conditions. Electrical: All electrics were checked and are in perfect working order. The bike starts instantly with the electric starter. Frame and Wheels: New tires and tubes front and rear, new wheel bearings. Hydraulics were completely gone through. Wheel cylinders were rebuilt, systems flushed, and both master cylinders rebuilt with new stainless steel cylinders. All hardware was plated. All frame parts were powder coated, the chrome is in excellent condition, and the tank and side covers were newly painted.
