Selling my 15 year project car, finally completed in 2012 and only after 15k miles on the build I have to give her up to the next owner. This is a clean titled early 1967 (actually a late year build 1966 car, out of San Jose California) that has been in California all of its life before I moved to San Antonio last March, have driven it locally about 2k miles since. It is a great example of a restomod mustang due to the following vehicle and engine mods. It was an original 289 auto car, the engine was swapped to a 1996 Ford Explorer 302 with a 92 Mustang EFI system. Car is currently registered and a daily driver, it has a clean Texas Title Vehicle suspension is brand new both front and back, all bushings, springs, leaf springs, drop spindles, and all steering components (bushings, power steering pump, hoses, and ram) are new. Wheels are a American Eagle torque brand, look great, tires are practically new with about 20k on them. Undercarriage is rust free, a true Californian car. Body has all period correct lettering and chrome, except for 289 badges swapped for 302 badges. Paint is new from 2012 and needs a good buff due to the vehicle being in storage. The only major flaw is on the drivers side door, it has a 1/2 dime size rust/bubble. Common rust spot for the door. Interior is in great shape, only defect is in the drivers side seat, has a small crack. Dashpad is brand new Foot well speakers, great addition for sound Under Dash Air Conditioning unit works great, ice cold New arm rest/center console really fills out the interior. Engine EFI from a 92 Ford Mustang 5.0, all new sensors and a refurbished computer. Comes with extra sensors and Distributor, these are just extras I bought during the swap. Gt40p heads have been professional ported and flowed, full rebuilds including 3 angle valve jobs and strong springs. F-303 camshaft, great idle sound and power band. Sanderson headers for spark plug clearance ford explorer throttle body and intake (larger than stock mustangs) Large sump and EFI fuel filter feeding the EFI fuel pump New (5 years ago) fuel pump and float/fuel level sender all new gaskets all around, engine had a complete rebuild prior to swap exhaust - Sanderson headers, needed to clear the GT40P spark plug locations and exhaust ports. The Spark plugs also have ceramic boots to protect from heat. Rest of the exhaust is a 2.5 inch bore Summit branded exhaust, sounds good, a bit too loud.
