He acquired it as a trade in from Baccus Chevrolet in Sudan Texas 45 years ago, has been an unfinished project since. Not a "barn find", it has been kept inside a metal building with a concrete floor. it is a 1952 model, titled as a 1953. Vin: B1D2KC30093. Disassembled and soda blasted, the rust you see in the pictures is light surface rust that wipes off with your hand. Solid floors, the only area that needed body work was the 8X3" section grafted in on the lower right fender - see pic. Not a field find that would require 1000's of hours in bodywork, the most solid original metal truck body I have ever seen. New Tailgate.Over the years the following has been done: Fresh 289 V8 (302 heads, sealed off, Headman Headers) with C4 Automatic Transmission, Mustang 2 front end installed, GM Tilt Column, New Fuel Cell under bed with Billit Pop up fuel neck installed on fender. No Brakes hooked up, no distributor hooked up, cannot start, drive or stop.Bed full of new parts acquired over the years: (Ford items mostly from Dennis Carpenter)-Beautiful AutoMeter Gauge Set.-Painless Wiring Kit p/n 10201-Chrome Bumpers off of late 30's Chrysler?
