Vehicle Detail
I have for sale my 1969 Dodge Charger project car. This 1969 Charger was sold originally with a 318 engine and painted F6 green which was a Spring only color. The original drivetrain is long gone and was replaced with a 383 big block engine and automatic transmission. The previous owner recently installed many new parts to get this car back on the road. The car has the following new parts already installed: fuel tank and sending unit, rear leaf springs, shocks on all four corners, complete brake rebuild including a new master cylinder, rubber hoses, wheel cylinders and brake pads, the front end was rebuilt with new ball joints and bushings, the motor was given a tune up including new plugs, plug wires, rebuilt distributor, and oil pressure/temp gauge installed, new single wire alternator installed. The car is currently short-wired to run and drive but will need the dash wiring hooked up before lights and wipers are functional. The body on this charger is one of the most solid you will find with very minimal rust. This car is so solid because it was a California car and still had the black tags on it when I bought it (last tagged in 1990). The rust is primarily confined to a couple small spots on each quarter panel that will require small patch panels. The center trunk pan did have a couple small places of rust and has already been replaced. The floor pans and frame rails are in excellent shape. This car should be considered a project and does need body/paint/mechanical work to really be nice. However, it is an excellent foundation to build an amazing car. At the photobucket link below, you will find almost 500 more pics of this car with multiple pics of just about every square inch of the car. The wheels and tires on the car ARE NOT INCLUDED in this auction. The car will be sold with the slotted mags pictured. The slotted mags have brand new tires on them. I have a clean, clear and up-to-date Oklahoma title for this car in my name. Please, look at all the provided pics at the link below before bidding. The pics are very representative of the cars condition. Please, ask all questions prior to bidding. Thank you. There are an additional 500 plus pics of the car at the following link: http://s869.photobucket.com/user/sridenour/library/1969%20Dodge%20Charger This is also a seven (7) minute YouTube video at the following link. This video shows the car running and driving as well as a walk around of the car. https://youtu.be/p6TPMeD3vec PAYMENT INFORMATION: The car is sold as is, no warranty implied or offered. The successful bidder is required to send a $1000 nonrefundable deposit within 24 hours of the end of auction via PayPal (other methods may be used if discussed and agreed upon prior to bidding!). If you are not able or willing to meet these criteria, please do not bid until you have discussed options with me. The balance of the auction is due in full within 7 days of the end of the auction. I prefer PayPal (for the deposit ONLY) and an electronic funds transfer for the balance. I will not accept PayPal for payment of the balance except under special circumstances that must be agreed on prior to bidding. I’ll accept other forms of payment such as certified bank check or cashier’s check for the balance, but all funds must clear my bank prior to release of the car. I would like the car picked up within 30 days of the end of the auction. The buyer is solely responsible for arranging the pickup of the car. ZERO (0) FEEDBACK AND NON-U.S. BIDDERS: If you are a zero (0) feedback bidder or a non-U.S. bidder you MUST contact me before bidding. I will cancel the bid of any zero feedback or non-U.S. bidder that does not contact me prior to bidding. I will require any zero feedback or non-U.S. bidder to provide me with a verifiable physical address and contact information prior to bidding. I realize we were all zero feedback bidders at some point, but unfortunately zero feedback bidders are often also non-paying bidders on automobile auctions. BIDDER CONFIDENCE: I strive for the most transparent auction possible. As a bidder, you can be confident that the vehicle you are bidding on is described to the best of my ability. I am always happy to provide any perspective bidder my contact information if they wish to speak directly with me on the telephone about the vehicle. If within driving distance, a perspective bidder is welcome to come see the car in person prior to bidding. I am happy and willing to take any reasonable actions (i.e. additional pictures, telephone conversation, in-person viewing of car prior to conclusion of the auction, etc.) to give the bidder confidence that the vehicle being auctioned is indeed in my possession, for sale, and has been described as accurately as I am able. I will conduct myself in a professional manner throughout the auction process and I will be a prompt communicator via email, telephone or text message.
