Vehicle Detail
This is the 4th time I am relisting this ATC because evidently, it is just fun to bid on items with no intention of actually buying them so please read this first and if you cannot adhere to these simple conditions, then by all means don't waste either of our time and move along. You can look at the history - the first time it sold for $860 but the buyer didn't actually have the money. The 2nd time it brought $990 but I was never able to establish communication with the high bidder. The 3rd time I accepted a Buy it Now price of $900 but a half hour later, he wanted to negotiate that price and have me wait for 5 days to see if he could get it shipped for a reasonable price. This is not how it is supposed to work! If you wish to own this 3 wheeler, please make sure that what you bid or offer is actually what you want to pay. Please make sure you have enough money at the moment to purchase it. Please, please, please have some idea on how you will get it picked up or shipped and what that will cost you! I am offering this as a no reserve auction but have also established a very reasonable Buy it Now price of $775.00 because I just want to get it out of my garage! A $200.00 PayPal deposit is required immediately with the Buy it Now or within 24 hours if the auction goes til the end. Full payment is to be made within 7 days of auctions close. Pick up terms can be discussed after I receive the deposit. If you are all good with that, please proceed to the description, thank you! 1982 Honda ATC 200 in very good condition. When I purchased this unit the recoil needed repair and it was not running. I repaired the recoil, replaced the plug, cap, and wire and she fired right up! It runs nice with no valve train noise or any oil leaks and it shifts through the gears as it should. The fuel system is clean, including the inside of the tank. The rear tires are worn but all of them hold air without issue. A rear rack and trailer hitch have been added. What it needs: When it's cold, the recoil sometimes hangs up and the rope stays out. A couple of tugs and it goes right back in. I would replace the cup, pawls, and pawl springs and it should take care of the problem...or just use it the way it is. It is also missing the compression release cable from the recoil but it's never been an issue. Pictures do not show a front brake cable but I have since installed a new one. Cosmetically, pretty much what you see in the pictures is what you get. The plastics are original and pretty decent but the rear fender does have a small crack as seen in the picture. The headlight case has been cracked and repaired and the mount is slightly bent. The tank has external rust. The seat cover and foam are aftermarket and recently installed. Overall, this is a nice, good running, clean unit. Please look at all the pictures and ask any specific questions that you may have.
