1997 FORD F250 HEAVY DUTY 4X4 DIESEL This is a rust-free Ford F250 in the old body style These were the last year that Ford offered the OBS or old body style, as the light duty trucks were based on the new F150 chassis and were technically F350 models. It is in excellent used condition; all trim and body panels are straight and rust free with the exception of the RH upper bed and tailgate which have dents but no rust. The body panels are excellent overall. The exterior is Oxford White with Light saddle tu-tone paint trim, with Pacer blackout forged 20" aluminum wheels with excellent Cooper 35" tires. The 8 foot long box bed is equipped with dual fuel tanks which are both working fine. All center caps are present and in beautiful condition, as are the alloy wheels. The glass and glass trim is very good; the RH vent window is presently broken out but will be replaced free of charge prior to the auction end. The grille and headlamps are excellent with minor sun fading on the lenses only. Rear bumper is original with some dents and tailgate is bowed out at the center and will likely need replacement, it also has a heavy duty receiver for towing large loads. The bed inside has no rust anywhere and features an aftermarket bed liner. The front bumper is perfect; it has been trimmed on the edges of the wheel openings for clearance. The truck has a body lift with urethane body mounts as well as Pro Comp rear ladder bars. The twin traction beam front axle has been replaced with an indestructible DANA 60 moonbeam axle which is the desirable late 1980's type with knuckle bearings rather than ball joints. The interior is XLT deluxe, in medium mocha cloth. The truck has no damage in the dash or dash pad and the instrument bezel is slightly cracked, it has good but not perfect door panels with power locks, mirrors and windows. Vent windows are manual and work great. The truck also has fully functional cruise control. Air conditioning blows ice cold for Florida summers! There is only minor seat wear on the driver's side, and the truck is equipped with a center armrest and cup holders in the console. It also features an upgraded Pioneer CD player. The driveline is the legendary 7.3 Navistar Powerstroke; the engine is well maintained and has no concerns though it may need new glow plugs for reliable starting in colder climates.
