Vehicle Detail

1970 Chevelle Project Car This car is obviously unfinished and is sold as a project. It still needs work, keep reading if you're interested This is an Arizona car with very little rust. It started life as an original 4-speed Malibu. I have no idea what engine it came with. The car is ripe and ready to clone into an LS5 or LS6.Based on the remnants of the original paint in the trunk, door jambs and dash, the car was originally Astro Blue. It is equipped as follows:It has a complete virgin two bolt main 454 out of my 1979 one ton truck. This engine has never been apart and ran well when it was pulled. It has a Saginaw 4-speed that seems to shift well.Has a Hurst competition Plus shifterIt has a full bucket seat interior, it needs work, but it's all there. It has a tilt wheel It has a clutch and pressure plate installed. It has a 12-bolt rear end (likely with 3.08 gears) The rear end has been cleaned up and painted. The driveline has been cleaned up and painted. It has new disc brakesNew master cylinder New brake boosterNew brake pads and lines off the booster. The floors have been cleaned off so you can see there is no rust. They are solidThe trunk is solid with no rust.It has new adjustment runners for the front buckets The front engine bay and front frame have been cleaned up and painted. It has had both complete rear quarters professionally replaced along with the outer wheelhousingsThe entire front clip is new, both front fenders and SS Cowl Induction hood complete with flapper. There are some new emblems (454 and Cowl Induction) that go with the carThe bodywork is about 90% done and it's been massaged once and then primered. The front tires are new, the rear are slightly used.Has a full set of Rally rims, 7' on the front and 8" on the rear. I put in a new windshieldIt came with stock tinted glassThere are other trim parts that go with the car, like the rear window trim, the side window trim with weather strip attached. Here is what it needsThe interior is all there, but will need a complete redo. It's shot.I would order the complete dash set from Classic, it comes with all new gauges and the wire harness. This dash is poor driver qualityIt needs the correct shifter for a Chevelle, this one touches the side of the 4-speed tunnel. It needs the one that kicks over to the right.Everything on the front end is loose so you can pull it off to do the restoration. The fenders are loose, the front A-arms are loose as well.It needs brake lines for power brakes. It came with manual brakes, the proportioning valve I bought is the wrong one and needs the correct unit. The body needs to be blockedIt needs a front headlight harness and engine harness and fuse block. There is no wiring for the dash or engine bay.I do not have the inner fendersIt needs a new wiper motorI don't have a power steering pump for itIt needs a radiatorBumpers are so-so Someone has removed the trim tag, but the vin is on the dash and I have a title. The car is ready for you to finish. 1970 Chevelle's that are set up as 454 LS6 cars are bringing good money. I've taken care of the body and supplied the 454 and 4-speed.all you have to do now is finish it up.Please remember, this car is sold AS-IS with no warranties expressed or implied, it still needs work! It does not run nor does it have brakes at the moment. If you need more photos, please text me at 801-791-2653 and I will shoot them over, if you have questions, PLEASE CALL ME!!
