1979 Trans am that is a fantastic driver. I would not be afraid to drive this car anywhere. Starts right up, is really fast and idles nicely. Body: Car looks like it was zbarted new and has no rust on the floors, trunk or really anywhere else. Only place I can see is at the bottom of the passengers rear quarter. I tried to get a picture, it is not a very big area. Had the hurst t tops installed in 1980 as per the sticker in the trunk. Still has the H H on glass. Paint is a nice driver quality that shines up nicely and looks good. It is older so it has it share of imperfections. Bumper is the only real place the paint is pealing. Has small door dings here and there but for the price is a great looking car. Drivetrain: 350, turbo 350 tranny and posi rearend. Car runs like a scaled dog and handles good. Has tubular upper and lower control arms, new tie rods and front suspension rebuild. Has air shocks in the rear which is why is sits so high. Interior: Someone spent a lot of money at some point to get a custom interior for this car. Have no idea when it was done but it has grown on me. Really needs nothing unless you want to take it back to original. All lights, gauges, horn turnsignals work. Car is tagged and inspected for Texas until November. All in all a great car. This truly is a car you could use for your daily driver while you mess around with it and do the things you want. Low starting price for a car this nice. All you bottom feeders that contact sellers when the auction is over and say," Is the car still for sale?" I will not sell it to you, if you want it, bid on it. Thanks for looking,
