Vehicle Detail
1972 Chevelle SS 454. Have decided to go a different direction with my collection so I am offering up some of my vehicles. This car was restored some time ago and is a nice daily driver. It is tagged and inspected for Texas and runs and drives good. Body: Was restored some time ago, not sure when but paint is shiny and looks nice for a daily driver. Has the typical chips and scratches associated with an older restoration. Floors and trunk are original and have no rust or patches. Only rust I can really see is on the back of the trunk lid but I think it was from bad prep work before painting. Does not need replaced and still looks fine. Quarters, doors, fenders hood all look good. Really all you need is to paint it someday and it will be cherry. Drivetrain: 454, turbo 400, 12 bolt rearend with f41 suspension. Have no idea if drivetrain is original so assume it isn't. Interior: Is in great shape, really needs nothing. I have ordered the radio that looks like the original but has ipod and all that stuff($600.00). Should be here this week or next, if not I will send it to the new owner. Speakers are here and go with the car. All in all a great car for the price. Really you don't need to do anything to this car to drive it today. You can piddle around with things while you drive it, the perfect kind of resto. Thanks for looking Just a note to all the bottom feeders that think they can get this car for nothing or wait till the auction is over and ask, " Is the car still for sale"? I will not sell the car for less than the starting bid. I will not sell it after the auction is over. If you don't think a 72 SS 454 is worth the starting bid buy one of the 350 SS's that are at 18 to 20k on ebay now. The only way you will get this car is by bidding on it.
