( The 5 years of production that was exceptionally durable and economical). 50 miles per gallon, technically nothing wrong.. new like exterior...Starts immediately, runs smooth, air and heating great, comes with a perfect sound system with iPhone /Galaxy application. Steering , Breaks and transmission are in prime condition and function. There has been no major repairs of any kind in the past with anything .. Tires are barely used. . next timing belt change is due in 55 Thousand miles. Modifications or problems : The trunk lock at times was causing problems with the theft alarm - so I removed the fuse controlling the automatic lock from the trunk.. Same fuse powers the locks of the doors and the sun roof. If desired this could be reversed. This in no way interferes with the operation of the vehicle just no power locks . Exterior: almost rust free - some area rust is shown on the pics .. almost good clear coat... Looks great .. Interior.: there are falling ceiling cover in places . This may require repairs for the more eye sensitive driver. Otherwise everything seems to be working Tires.. silent and well tested and trusted brand .. Reason to sell : My kids had those multiple cars and being what they are they out lasted their college education. now they bought new ones and left all 4 vehicles with me. They are priced so low, because I have no place to put them. They ( I have 3 more of the goldene Series VW ) are very good vehicles needing nothing but oil change for care.
