Vehicle Detail
This low mileage handicap equipped van is a great find at a very reasonable price. The conversion was done by VMI a industry leader in handicap conversions and this one was top notch. The van has never been smoked in, it runs very well as I recently had to drive the van from San Francisco to Dallas. I had to drive it from her residence in California to mine and it had only 48500 miles before i started that journey but since that drive it is just over the 50,000 mark. Vehicle had 3 owners, 1st being a rental company for 1 year and 2 months, then a place in Arizona bought the van, converted it to a handicap and sold it to my grandmother so she is the 3rd owner the 2nd owner only had for 4 months to do the conversion. All maintenance records since then are on the carfax, it is clean of anything, no damages or repairs to the exterior of the van. The setup allows a person in a wheelchair to be locked down by 4 anchor points and there is also a seat belt attachment so the person never has to leave the chair and they can be safely secured. You can seat 3 in the back row easily behind the wheelchair device and 2 up front. The ramp works very well, the only known issue with the van is there are 2 interior dome lights that are not coming on, I have not looked into it at all but there are no other problems that I have seen. Two new front tires put on last month, the back tires still have 75% tread life remaining so the tires are in great shape, an oil change was done last month. I did not have an alignment done when putting on the new tires and it does pull every so slightly to the left, its not bad but I discovered this on the 1500 mile drive in the van, so i presume a alignment would fix that. Everything with this car is in great condition, the keys are designed to open or close the door and lower/raise ramp with just a double click of the key fob button. I do have a carfax report for the van to prospective buyers. Car does have sensors on front and rear bumpers to beep when backing in or pulling forward and getting close to objects, helps navigate safely. You can arrange your own shipping, or I would be willing to drive the vehicle to you for a reasonable fee depending on your location.
