There are very few BJ46 Land Cruisers EVER for sale ANYWHERE in the world. They are very cool because they are a bit longer then the standard 40 series cruiser. More space inside and extremely rugged. VIN NUMBER BJ46001118 / JDM / FACTORY ORIGINAL BROWN ZEBRA FABRIC REAR SEAT: I am selling my 1984 BJ46 JDM. Just in from Japan. I already drive one. I bought this one to find another BJ46 fan who has been looking for a good one. As you know they are ultra rare. Brown Zebra fabric, factory front facing seat in the rear. Zebra fronts to match can be found and added. Cruiser is a 5 speed, AC, Power Steering, 3B Diesel with great compression. Could drive this one to Alaska and back in my opinion. Based on the rarity of the Cruiser ( one of the rarest Toyota ever produced ) and its condition ( Engine compression just taken last week: 430 psi / 390 psi / 400 psi / 360 psi. ). Brand new compression on this motor is approx. 490-500 psi each cylinder ). This cruiser runs very well, no adverse smoke, no leaks, idles perfect, good power but please note that these cruisers are not fast. They are plenty reliable and are like tractors in 4 wheel drive but they will only do about 75 - 80 mph max and are slow off the line. Rugged though. Based on the condition I have tried to start the price off fairly but am willing to review everyone's offer. Any questions let me know. I drive full time a 1983 BJ46. In my opinion at my age I think this cruiser is the nicest one they ever made. Please note that the BJ46 Cruiser is longer than the lower 40 series but mine is shorter than the troopy. With all the options Toyota added and the large rear cargo seat facing forward as a comfortable couch seat and the extra room in the far back cargo area for camping gear and whatever you want to throw in there, out of the way, the cruiser does all of that. With AC, Power Steering, 5 speed for a more quiet ride, more power with the 3B diesel, lower fuel costs then gas cruisers, longer engine life, super reliable and well built, a great heater in the winter, 4 x 4 like a tractor if you ever need it, the cruiser is a family wagon as far as I am concerned.
