1966 Mustang Convertible. All of the major rust repair is DONE. Car is structurally solid. New Quarters, rear frame rails, doors, torque box, pans etc... Just needs finish work. The rockers are solid. The rust on the car is surface rust from sitting. Welds need dressing and sealing. The car has been converted to 5 lug all the way around. 8 inch rear end and V8 front disc brakes and steering. (Rear end is noisy when rolling-likely bad?)) Control arms and suspension appears to have been replaced at some point based on appearance. All sheet metal is solid. Fenders and hood have surface rust only. Otherwise they are solid panels. It has a what appears to be recently rebuilt 6 cylinder engine. Starts runs and idles well. Brakes do not work. Lines are not complete. Gas tank is not hooked up. Tires are bad. Will hold air long enough to load on a trailer. Car comes with everything pictured. I have built several of these cars over the years. I know the issues and have explained and pictured them in this listing. I bought this as a project and had another one fall my way so I must sell this one. There is easily over $4,000 worth of metal work in this car alone. It is a great foundation to complete with the 6 cylinder power or convert to a V8.
