This a project that I bought three years ago with intentions of a full frame-off resto-mod into a Diesel powered, off-road, camp, and bugout vehicle. Then again, I thought this an excellent candidate for a full authentic restoration. I never settled on that. Other restoration projects, dwindling cash, and diminishing ambition have reluctantly presented this auction. Purchased from a gentleman in SoCal who owned it for 25 years with similar desires. He kept it garaged all that time while he tinkered but just never brought it fully back to operation. I was told that the Chevy 350 crate engine was new and minimal miles on it but I had no way of verifying that. The stock engine is missing, I'm sorry to say. Manual 4 speed transmission I do not know which one. He bought another M43 on the east coast and combined the two for the better of all the parts. As it is, it does not run and has issues with the conversion of the rear drive line. This didn't matter to me since I had desired to tear it all out anyway. The body is in remarkable shape since it had been garage kept but is showing fading and rust from the last three years we had in the yard. There is virtually two trucks here with almost two of everything. You'll have to check out the photos to see what I mean. I can provide a lot more if you'd like. A few items are not in the photos such as six more tires and split-rim wheels, an additional front end, etc. I'd much much prefer to sell all this as a package and not part it out as this is where the value is.
