I SOLD THIS BEFORE BUT THE PERSON WHO BOUGHT IT WAS UNABLE TO COME UP WITH THE MONEY, SO I'M RE-LISTING IT… This is an amazing 1966 Mustang that had the entire exterior COMPLETELY stripped down to metal and painted in Sept 2017. There was very little rust (two spots about the size of a quarter ) when it was stripped down which was all repaired (not filled with Bondo, but banged out, and repaired) . I'll even include the left over Blue and White paint. This car did start life as a 6 cylinder, but the previous owner did a complete 289 V8 motor with a 2 brl carb upgrade including 5 lug wheels etc . This car runs great, just tap the ignition and it starts right up every time , and is full of power --- it will easily chirp the tires if you want. I was told by the previous owner that the engine was re-built before installing it into the car. I can't confirm that, but it drives like it was. The car is in great shape, and can be driven any distance as it is today. I would easily trust this car to go on a long drive (several hours) with no worries. This car is a perfect daily driver as it is or with very little work could be a prize restoration. The car has power brakes, and an AC unit partially installed (as you can see by the pics). It even has an am/fm/cd player installed in the glove box (this way the original radio is still in place and the dash is NOT all cut up). The seats have all been re-done and look great. The carpet is in good shape (looks better than the pics show) but since I got it when I bought the seat kit, I'll also include a NEW black carpet (and noise reducing underlay) with the car. The car has LOTS of new parts, new interior, new battery, new brakes , Tires are almost new (and have been balanced and aligned), new power steering, new plugs and wires, new paint (It was professionally stripped down to bare metal and repainted in Sept 2017... yes just a few months ago), and much much more. I have a clear SC title for the car I'll also include the original side emblems and rear bumper guards so you can install them if you want (I thought it looked better without it) I have this car listed locally and online so reserve the right to end this listing at any time. There is nothing wrong with the car. In the previous listing someone used the buy it now option, but AFTER when they went to the bank they were unable to obtain a loan due to credit history, or other loans etc. (nothing to do with the car).
