I am selling my 1974 Dodge Dart Custom 4dr. I bought this as a father/son project and found that it is not much of a project and not the type of project my 16 year old had in mind (we are turning our attention towards a 1976 Camaro). This car has zero rust/rot!! Zero bodywork, with 100% original paint in great condition. The top is vinyl and is not ripped or shrunk or deteriorated. This car is super clean, especially for its age. The car has: power steering, power front disc brakes, air conditioning, A/M radio (not very good reception), bench cloth/vinyl seats, carpet, trunk light. The interior is near perfect, but needs a headliner. It runs beautifully, no smoke, no knocks, no noise. This car only has 38,700 original miles! There are a newer set of Hankook tires on it with about 95% tread left. There is a dual exhaust system on the car that was installed by a previous owner. They did a great job on it, but they used "cherry bomb" type mufflers, so it is a little louder than stock. The seats are not ripped, the carpets are great. No holes in the trunk and, for what it is worth, it looks like the original spare. I have been driving this car on occasion and would have no hesitation in driving this car across country. The car also comes with the original owner's manual, sales brochure and a car cover. I'm not going to nit-pick this car to death, but it does, however, need a few things: 1. There is a large hole in the headliner over the driver's seat. I priced them at about $150.00 from Classic Industries. 2. The bushings on the windshield wiper arms are shot, so the wipers are not working. New bushings are under $10.00, but I am told they are a pain to replace. 3. The A/C is not cold. 4. I took the car out for a spin at night and the dash lights are not working. Please, ask me any questions, check my feedback.
