Up for auction is a pretty sweet Old school Triumph Bonny Bobber. Took her in on trade a little while back and love her but being 6'4" I am like an elephant riding on a moped. So instead of letting sit showcasing in garage I figured I would try to find her a good home. She has a 650 cc engine that was bored to 750 and has been updated with a newer 5 speed transmission and electronic ignition. Previous owner claims that there is less than 5000 on rebuild. have no way to confirm but she starts on second kick and runs pretty good. Does leave spots of oil on ground but looks like it from the chain oiler. Frame is an older hard tail from mid sixties I believe but not real sure. Custom Patina paint done to make look old and rusty. Not a professional job but as you can see pretty presentable. Engine has also been aged as well. Just gives her character doesn't it? Also Springer front end and Jockey/ suicide shifter. Avon tires are good shape and ole girl seems to perform like she should. Only issue I seen riding was she is a little hard to stop with the rear drum only brake but rim and forks have provisions to install disc brake and caliper. Some folks like rear brakes only and was typical of this era bike. Exhaust pipe scrapes some in the hard left turns. May need a battery come spring as well and one of the mirrors is cracked. That being said you wont find another like her. I am starting price what I consider cheap and less then what I got in her but wanted to make reasonable for someone to buy in hopes of getting her a good home. Also put a Buy It Now for someone if you just got to have her. She is nothing fancy but gets lots of attention. Could use some of your personal touches and some tlc to make her your own but you got to admit she is pretty cool. Clean WV title in my name and my possession that matches engine and have a couple triumph service manuals I will include as well. I have put up plenty of pics so please look closely and feel free to ask questions.
