1979 Honda CX500 Deluxe. This is a cool bike. Water-cooled, V-Twin opposing cylinders and shaft drive!!! Built to run many long miles,these were sold by Honda back in the late 80's to compete with BMW. These are very reliable bikes and cruise really nice on the highway. I bought this bike from the original owner and it was not starting for him. I put a new battery in it and it started right up. All the lights worked and it sounds good. I don't hear any wierd noises. I topped off the coolant before I started it too. The left carb had a stuck float. I was able to free it up by tapping on it with a screw driver but it could get stuck again I guess but right now it is not. I have the bike priced where I think you could buy it and if you had to spend a few bucks on a tune up, you would still be at a good place with a cool vintage Honda to ride. The tires are in really good shape, and I cannot see any weather checks. I HAVE THE CLEAR TITLE SIGNED OFF AND READY TO TRANSFER TO THE NEW BUYER.PAYMENT: I will accept a personal check, a cashier's check, a wire transfer or PAY PAL Friends and Family. SHIPPING: The buyer is responsible for either picking up the bike in person or sending their own shipper. I cannot crate the bike. I cannot ship it.
