Vehicle Detail
I bought this around ten years ago. My son and I were going to restore it. He's no longer interested and I'm not going to do anything with it. It's been sitting in my shop since. I have no title for this bike. I had to put something in for ebay, so I put rebuilt,rebuildable..... Again, there is no paperwork/title for this bike. I knew the original owner and purchased it from a mutual friend who had purchased it from the original owner(OO). OO had bought the bike new and put it in his shed and didn't do anything with it. OO has since passed away and there is no paperwork. I would provide a bill of sale. The bike was purchased in Texas according to what OO told me. I have checked with the State of Texas DMV and they have no record of this bike. I was told one could apply for a bonded title and that would eventually revert to a normal title. I never pursued this and I know nothing more than what is stated here. The bike is all original. The internals on the engine were in bad shape and I found a couple of core engines plus some NOS parts. I split the case and took the best of what I had plus the new I could find and built it back up with the crankcase that came with it. I did run it for a short period and then I never really got back to it. You get all the extra engine parts too The chrome shows some minor surface rust and I'm sure would easily rechrome. The bike is in Hillsboro, Texas and this would be for local pick up. This is also subject to local sale I am not interested in crating this and shipping it, However, I would carry it to the DFW area and leave it at a freight forwarder, but I am not going to crate it. The buyer would have to make all arrangements. I am not going to be responsible for shipping damage, that is why I will not crate it. I would expect to be reimbursed for my travel and I will not deliver it to a local buyer.
