Up for auction is a beautiful well kept and well maintained 2002 Jeep Wrangler X. If you have been looking for the Jeep that is completely rust free and untouched this is it. This is for the vacation home to sit awaiting you to arrive and hop in or great for a place to start. There literally is absolutely no rust anywhere on this vehicle. I can't believe how clean it is. We have sold hundreds of Jeeps so we know what to look for, what we normally see, and do not normally see. We also have an in-house ASE master technician who looked this thing over to guarantee its in tip top shape for whomever this beauty goes to. Now onto the fine details.... 2002 Jeep Wrangler X 5spd manual transmission - The clutch feels GREAT, shifts smooth. The throw-out bearing has a bit of a noise or rattle to it. This can be completely normal and common with age. After owning and selling hundreds of Jeeps. I would not worry about this and would simply drive it, ignore it, and enjoy it. 4x4 or 4 wheel drive works and shifts as it should. NO oil leaks anywhere. The cooling system has all new hoses and fluids throughout. We changed the oil and installed brand new spark plugs and a new o2 sensor at the mileage we are listing it now. This is the only thing we saw fit to do in our inspection with our certified ASE Certified Mastertech we have in-house. There is an airbag sensor light on due to a ground or sensor issue. We did not dive into or waste any time or money as we wanted to keep this rust free gem as cheap as we can because we know there are people out here looking for something like this as a starting point. I would ignore this and drive it and enjoy it. It is a 170k mile 15 year old vehicle. All boots, joints, seals looked dry and above average. The underside had no buildup or anything to warrant any future concerns. The exhaust system looks still as in new condition. The tires are in fantastic condition with tons of life left. The A/C Blow ice cold and will literally freeze you out of the cab. The soft top looks brand new. The passenger side dash has some nicks and scratches on the exterior. Not sure why but they are there. The winning buyer or bidder will be required to pay their state sales tax on top of the purchase price. It is the law and I would be happy to show it to you on the indiana website. You will get proper documentation to show you paid this in your respective home state and not be charged again.
