Its kitted out to the max, off road ready, zombie ready, apocalypse ready, 4x4 ready, trail ready and urban street ready. It looks great and performs like a Land Rover Defender should. This was previously a father and son Land Rover enthusiast owned, the son worked at a Land Rover dealership in the UK and it has had no expenses spared as you can see from the photos and list of upgrades. Huge list of extras and modifications with lots of money spent on it making it ready for off-road and street use. A true, iconic and original Land Rover! As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections that come with age and mileage. It still has a current MOT (British road safety test); every vehicle in the UK must pass a MOT each year (not required for the USA but completed regardless).This D90 is in excellent running and driving condition. The Defender starts easily and runs smoothly with every turn of the key. The vehicle drives supremely well, the engine sounds great and pulls strongly. The vehicle’s road manners are what you would expect from an old Land Rover. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. Completely ready to go with a 13,000lbs winch with wireless remote, connected snorkel and fully working roof-mounted spotlights. Bulkhead and foot wells are all solid. Frame is strong and solid and has previously been well waxolyd, new rear crossmember fitted (documented 2014). Nothing to hide underneath, very honest and strong chassis with no rot. By far one the coolest looking Defenders out there, yet still very original and in keeping with the Land Rover charm. Overall this Land Rover is in great condition and operates exactly as it should and is ready for its next adventure! Its screaming for some dirt roads or some street roaming. It feels firm and sounds solid, as it should. The engine has covered 150k original miles - which is low considering its age. Time has shown these Defenders are unbreakable if they are maintained and driven properly over the years.Service & Maintenance History - Just serviced with a new oil and filter change, front & rear diff fluid and all undercarriage chassis points, prop shaft and U-joints freshly greased at 150K miles. Complete with service history.Body & Exterior -The Defender is much loved for its rugged construction, simple mechanics, and all around basic simplicity. Being an old ‘Landy’ of course you can expect a couple minor dents here and there, has a usual age related finish and patina. Has great character and charm for an old Landy. Fresh lenses and lights all round. All lights,wipers,dials and heater blower work as they should. Bulkhead and foot wells are all solid. The bulkhead is strong; the frame is solid and the crossmemeber is sturdy (new 2014). Underneath the chassis has been previously well waxoilyd for protection. Just a very nice clean, strong and honest example of a classic D90 with nothing to hide.Interior - The interior has Exmore grey herringbone cloth that is in a very good condition with no rips or tears. Complete with center cubby box and cup holders. Also has a battery safety/kill switch installed. The interior of this vehicle is very standard and basic, but clean and well looked after. Simplistic dash with no rips or tears all original dials the speedometer is in MPH. Added luxury of radio/CD/Aux player. Rear bench seats are vinyl complete with seat belts. The rear has been fully checker plated for a nice clean and practical look.Running Gear - All the brakes and running gear work properly, the disc brakes (front & rear disc brakes) and parking brake hold the vehicle as it is meant to. Equipped with powered-assisted steering, which really makes it fun and a pleasure to drive for an old Land Rover. Clutch operates correctly, the original gearbox shifts work properly and it does not make any strange noises. All-wheel drive with high and low ranges all work correctly.This classic Defender is good to go and needs nothing accept a new owner, who is going to get quite a rare and unique car.
