Vehicle Detail
Parting is sweet sorrow, and I'm damn sorrowful to let go of this bike, but I need to get her to someone who has the time to appreciate her. I bought this stock in 2015 from RPM Cycles, near Dallas, Texas. Dealt with a sales agent named Wade, who was excellent. Upgrades: Arrow 2 into 2 full system, including the headers that have blued beautifully (I only ride responsibly, meaning I let the bike warm up every time I ride, and I sometimes participate in spirited riding, but only when it makes sense). I get compliments on the sound every time I take her out. Battery tender pigtail. Airhawk seat pad Dart fly screen in Smoke colorTriumph locking gas cap (really annoying that this doesn't come stock, but now you don't have to worry about it)Disclosures:The left Arrow can has a small dent (see photos for comparison of left and right cans). A guy parked his bike next to me oddly. It fell over and his grip hit my can. It broke my heart until I realized it was purely cosmetic. I don't really notice it anymore. Black paint is wearing on the left fork, near the triple tree (see photo). It's a small and superficial wear spot. The tape/wrapping around the electrical wiring in the triple tree area has come off (see photo). I've ridden in all kinds of weather and it hasn't bothered anything. I put some electrical tape around the area, but it too came off, so I'm not sure why that spot won't take tape. If you're particularly handy, you could probably figure this out in 5 minutes. Bike has had the following work done: 500 mile "break-in" service, oil change at 3,000 miles. Hasn't needed anything else. Brakes are in great shape, except some glazing on the front from city riding. It makes a little squeak, but the brake pulls hard and has no issues. Stock Metzler tires with plenty of good tread left. I took two sets of photos, one in the afternoon and one during "magic hour." I just wanted you to see how, in the light, the orange that's straight out of the 70s makes that tank look mighty fine. This bike is a trooper. Has never left me stranded, including a trip across Texas and many weekend rides through western Maryland. I simply don't have time to ride anymore due to my job. Generally, I like to shift into fifth and roll on the throttle, but this is a case of shifting careers and needing to work a lot more hours for a lot more pay. I've sold several bikes on eBay and have an excellent track record. I guarantee you this bike will put a smile on your face. I get compliments every time I ride. I come back to where I parked it, and an older gentleman is always taking a photo and telling me a story about his old T65 that he misses, which makes owning this a real pleasure. Buy this bike, and you can be that person who makes someone's day years hence, telling stories about this T100. Clear Maryland title. Cash or cashier's check only (deposit accepted via PayPal). For sale locally. You're welcome to come see it if you're local to Bmore. Test ride with cash in my hand. Mileage will go up a little, as I ride to work on occasion. Feel free to ask any questions.
