This is a 1998 Volvo V70 station-wagon. It's in fair to "pretty-good-considering-its-age" condition. Fun Fact: It's the exact same make, model, year & color as the car that "Gus" drove on the AMC show, Breaking Bad. (Except that our car never had a luggage rack.) The current mileage is about 214,310. The Good The car runs! Everything important on the car works still works: engine, AC, CD & cassette player, radio, heated seats, front & rear windshield wipers, etc. All new tires and rear rotors & pads were put on last summer. New right/front axle and front struts & rear shocks were installed 2 years ago It just passed its NYS emissions inspection last month. The Bad Switch on the front passenger side window is intermittent, but the master switch on driver side works for all 4 windows. There are a few scratches and rust spots, the worst of which are highlighted in the 3rd photo. Sun roof motor works, but there's a broken "guide" part that would need to be replaced for it to operate smoothly. The parking brakes might need adjusting. (The lever pulls up too high.) There's a damp area underneath the floor mat on the driver's side. There was once an internal leak of window washer fluid that accumulated there. It was repaired about 8 years ago. That might be the problem again. I'm not sure. The hood release lever must be pulled twice in order to fully release the hood. I've read online that there's an adjustment one can make to fix this, but I haven't attempted it myself. Bottom line: it's a big old Volvo that still runs and has plenty of cargo space. It's not in perfect condition, and for that reason the price is low. The buyer would need to pick up the car on Staten Island. If you have any questions, just let me know.
